Maintenance Mechanic Technician


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Maintenance Technicians perform functions associated with all production including equipment, process and training. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustainability. In addition, the Technician is responsible for process improvements, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Maintenance Technician uses experience in mechanical, motor, gear, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic applications to solve root problems to better the whole team. The Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

*   Obtaining and maintaining operation certification of all support and high speed packaging equipment

*   Performing preventive maintenance on all equipment

*   Quickly response for any tools troubleshooting or maintenance activities

*   Nonstandard activities based on Engineering guidance

*   Responding to process excursions by partnering with Engineer and performing containment and root cause investigations.

*   Follow safety procedures and clean up after each and every task

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

*   Able to work and interact with others in a structured / team environment

*   Troubleshoot machine downtime and perform root cause analysis towards continuous improvement; communicate issues with maintenance supervisor production lead/team on a consistent basis

*   Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks; exhibit excellent time management skills in prioritizing assigned around available time

*   Train operators as assigned regarding specified machinery; communicate with production

*   Complete all physical and electronic paperwork (PM’s, parts check out, daily log, etc.)

*   Able to follow hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to perform maintenance, repair or modification of production and support equipment

  • Advanced Electrical and PLC Skill, Demonstrate ability to communicate with PLC’s to monitor and/or modify ladder logic
  • Demonstrate ability to understand, troubleshoot, repair and modify AC, DC, circuits
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of components of the  system: evaporative condensers, compressors, plate and frame heat exchangers etc.,

Warehouse Associate/ Forklift Driver


JOB DESCRIPTION

Safely and proficiently operated forklifts to Loaded/unload shipment trucks. ensuring all loads are accurate and damage-free at the time of loading.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure accuracy by completing documentation of the order processed and delivery Loaded and unloaded shipment trucks, and trailers
  • Use RF handheld scanners to enter data and process information for accurate records.
  • Maintained appropriate records and reports to guarantee product control and safety.
  • Inspect loads for damage, reports any damaged finished goods; properly handle damaged product
  • Performed daily safety and maintenance checks of lift vehicles.
  • Maintain a safe clean work environment; pallet area workstations and shipping area.
  • Maintained forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

2 years of demonstrated success in a manufacturing capacity preferred

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

QC Technician


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The QC Tech works with production to ensure all packaged product meets requirements as specified in the MMBR. The QC Tech performs routine tests and checks on the line throughout the production process to ensure quality and efficiency and eliminate rework and waste. QC communicates any quality products with production and works with customers as appropriate with quality issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • QC line checks (including product/water testing)
  • Check operation of products and Inspect product to standards are met.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Processes as necessary.
  • Complete QC paperwork (including shift reports) accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Verify testing results from batching department
  • Calibration of equipment
  • Identify and segregate nonconforming product and document cause of failure for corrective action.
  • Assist production in identifying root cause of defect trends then recommend corrective/containment action as appropriate.
  • Perform ATP and environmental swabbing as required
  • Shift times will vary depending upon production needs; may include overtime and weekend hours.

EDUCATION and/EXPERIENCE

  • High school or equivalent,1-2 years of experience in a regulated industry preferred
  • Possess excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with production workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form, including small group presentations.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions of various formats including diagrams, order tickets and written details.
  • Possess basic shop mathematic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction/decimal conversion, percentage calculation, etc. Knowledge of algebraic formulae is desirable.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Demonstrate understanding and practical application of root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in computer use and common software programs including Microsoft Office.

Machine Operator/Quality Inspector


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Machine Operator strives for efficiency in all areas of the production line and demonstrates technical expertise on packaging machines. The Machine Operator leads the production line to adhere to production schedules, communicates problems to Supervisors and/or Leads, and brings ideas for improvement to the rest of the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures all GMPS and safety regulations are adhered to all the time
  • Continually monitors machine operations to insure accurate product measurements
  • Calls maintenance or set up technicians as needed.
  • Ensures that all batch requirements and specifications are followed
  • Performs preventative maintenance of packaging equipment.
  • Monitors quality products and responds to issues identified by Quality Assurance and the Packers.
  • Reports mechanical concerns to supervisors and maintenance
  • Keeps the line running to meet all production run rates
  • Organizes change overs in a timely manner
  • Responsible for keeping the production line clean and organized at all times
  • Accounts for all return materials at the end of each run

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired; one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
